virginia and sawyer | newborn photographer

i definitely do not consider myself a newborn photographer. newborns are volatile little sweethearts and so i would much rather have a little lifestyle session where i don't have to actually position the babe and worry about all of that. AND SO. my dear friend virginia had her sweet sawyer a few months ago and asked if we could do a milk bath session to commemorate her exclusive pumping for the past three months. and i'm all YES A MILLION TIMES YES. i know it has been an arduous journey for her but she was telling me that God has continually shown her that she does not need to worry about feeding sawyer. she has been able to stock up her fridge and freezer AND have enough to feel confident in using her own milk for sawyer's milk bath. and i love her drive and passion for this and her willingness to sacrifice her time and self to feed her son. these are definitely some of my favorite pictures i've ever had the privilege to take, so thank you, virginia, for allowing me into the sacred space of your life.
