my sweet friend jamie had her baby right at the beginning of covid. i got in to take pictures of this precious babe just a day or two before hospitals stopped allowing visitors. so this was my last fresh 48 session and i am missing them terribly. jamie’s sister made her this “loved” onesie and i cannot get over how sweet it is. also, my new favorite photos of brand new mamas happen to be the slightly out of focus ones where they’re whispering i love yous into their baby’s ears and tearing up over how in love they are. so yes, that slightly blurry picture is on purpose and i think it’s my favorite from this whole session.

also let’s give a shoutout to all the mamas who had babies and then promptly went into quarantine, especially the first time parents. bravo to you to in this season.
